Autumn sketches III

I took these photos when the sun was going down. Shadows where long and the sky had fascinating colors. Maybe, the sky on my photos is too pale, I'll try better next time.

Grass is brick-red. I did no postprocessing intentionally.

The sun shines very bright, so the sky is pastel blue and pastel pink.

Trees have incredibly long shadows, because the sun is very low.

Autumn sketches

Just a couple of pictures.

Lomo!

My experience in photography is very little, so not suprisingly once I took a very noisy photo. People throw away such photos usually. But. I liked it, moreover I did want it to be noisy, to look casual and fascinating. Didn't know how to achieve this, so just forgot.

I came across a photo term yesterday. Lomography -that's what I need! This is a very popular style, more than 1 million people all around the world follow it. The main idea is: don't think, just shot. Photos are taken with cheap film cameras traditionaly. What if you've got a digital camera already, and you don't want to buy another one? You can just emulate lomo effects.

Download gimp plugin here: http://registry.gimp.org/node/7870. Place gimplomo.scm into your ~/.gimp-2.4/scripts/ folder. Restart gimp, select "Filters -> Light and Shadow -> Lomo".
Here are some of my pictures.
